ANKYROS

Interim terms — under legal review

Version 2026-10-14

These terms are dated 14 October 2026. They describe the ANKYROS service as it works today. They are under legal review, and final terms will replace them. Text in [square brackets] marks a point that is not settled yet. Please read them with our Privacy notice.

1. Who we are

ANKYROS is run by [the legal entity will be named here, with its registered address and registration number] (“we”, “us”).

2. What the service is

ANKYROS is an app through which you apply for a euro account and then use it. The account, its IBAN and the safekeeping of your money are provided by one of our partners; which one depends on your account. Each partner is listed, with what it provides and how it holds your money, in the Partner schedule at the end of these terms. Before a partner’s account opens, you are asked to accept that partner’s own terms; in its live service, the partner provides your account under them.

In the app you can see your balance and your payments and, where each is available, receive euro transfers at your IBAN and send euro payments by SEPA transfer. Each payment you send must be confirmed with a code we e-mail to you, which expires after 10 minutes. A payment may be held for a check by our team before it is sent.

3. What the service is not

  • ANKYROS does not hold your money, and we are not a bank: the partner that provides your account holds it.
  • Money comes in and goes out only as euro transfers: you cannot send or receive crypto-assets through ANKYROS.

4. Who can apply

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • You can apply as an individual, or for a business. A business gives us the details of its owners and directors and an ID document for each of them.
  • An individual’s identity is checked by Sumsub, our identity-verification provider, on our behalf — or, for an application started when that check was not available, by our team, from the ID document uploaded on our older form.
  • If you are a US person, we also ask for your Social Security number (SSN) or ITIN.
  • We do not accept a business that provides money services to others.
  • You can have one application at a time. Once your application is approved, you cannot start another.
  • We may refuse an application. A person on our team makes that decision; we never refuse one automatically.
  • The partner that would provide your account decides, under its own rules, whether it can open one for you.

5. Fees

We charge no fees today. Our partners may charge their own fees; what each charges, as far as we know it, is in its entry in the Partner schedule.

6. Keeping your account secure

Every payment you send is confirmed with a code we e-mail to you, so keep your e-mail account secure, and never share your codes or your password with anyone. You can add an authenticator app to your sign-in. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once through Help & Support or at support@ankyros.com.

7. Holding, freezing and closing your account

Our team can hold a payment for a check, and can freeze or close your account in ANKYROS.

There is no way to close your account in the app yet. To close it, ask us through Help & Support or at support@ankyros.com. Closing your account at a partner is that partner’s process. [How it works, and what happens to any money in it, will be set out here.]

We can delete your account and your data with us only when you have no account at any of our partners, no money and no payment in progress. Even then, some records are kept: see our Privacy notice.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service, tell us through Help & Support — in the app, or on our website at ankyros.com/support — or write to support@ankyros.com. A person on our team will reply by e-mail. [A complaints procedure, and where to take a complaint about a partner’s part of the service, will be set out here.]

9. What these interim terms do not cover yet

[The final terms will also set out liability, how changes to the terms are notified and accepted, the law that applies to them and the courts, and any right to withdraw from the contract.]

Nothing in these interim terms takes away any right that consumer-protection law gives you.

These terms are interim. When they change, the new version will be published on this page with its date.

10. Partner schedule

The partners that can provide your account, one entry each; each entry describes the partner’s live service. Before your account opens, the app tells you which partner will provide it and asks you to accept that partner’s own terms.

Bridge

  • What it provides: It opens your account, gives you its IBAN and holds your money; the euro transfers you receive and send go through it.
  • How it holds your money: Your money is held as EURC, not as a deposit with a bank. EURC is a euro stablecoin; Bridge keeps it for you in a wallet on the Solana blockchain. Money you receive at your IBAN is converted into EURC in that wallet, and a payment you send leaves it as a euro transfer (SEPA). The wallet’s movements are recorded on a public ledger under the wallet’s address, not under your name, and cannot be deleted from it. [What this means for the protection of your money will be set out here.]
  • Its terms: Before your account at Bridge opens, you accept Bridge’s own terms and privacy notice, on Bridge’s page or in the app. [The links to them will be given here.]
  • Its fees: When you send a payment, Bridge may take its fee from what the recipient receives. [Bridge’s fees will be set out here.]
